Why use different capacity spools on the same reel?

Whith a reel such as this you wont have the need to purchase different reels for different rods with different lines, all you will need to get is the right spool for that rod. This represent a significant saving since a spool is much cheaper that a whole reel.

Why does TRAVELLER not employ a brake system?

In MARCO FLY REELS we think that there will never be a mechanical device able to equal the feel of our hands and that is why TRAVELLER has both sides exposed so you can access them in an intuitive way and feel the fight with the fish more intensely.

What species has TRAVELLER been designed for?

With TRAVELLER we can tackle from trout to salmon with one or two hands rods, being especially indicated to single hand rods, due to its reduced weight wiht the high capacity spool making casting friendlier. In the sea it's adequate for species like bonefish and baby tarpon. For large sea species tuna-like and saifish etc we are currently developing and testing new prototypes, that will be fitted with powerfull brakes and antireverse systems, that we hope to see in the next few months.
